Sue in "Throwdown"To cause dissention among the Glee Club members, Sue forces the students to compete against each other, but the real showdown happens when she and Will get called into the principal’s office. The latest relationship drama at McKinley High:

  • Rachel tried to protect Finn by giving her panties to Jacob, the blogger who was going to run a story on Quinn's pregnancy (and who also lusts after Rachel).
  • Will and TerriWill got mad at Terri for leaving him out of his (nonexistent) baby's life, but they made up after Terri took him to a staged doctor's appointment.
  • Quinn told Finn to stay away from Rachel.

  • The original title of this episode was "Takedown!"

  • Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury) does not appear in this episode.

  • "Ride wit' Me" is one of the few songs on "Glee" that was performed live instead of lip-synched to a studio track.

  • Much of the dialogue in the fight between Sue and Will in Figgins' office was ad libbed.
